BIOGRAPHY: Amelia was born in Odessa, Texas in the summer of 1991 to Joseph and Danielle. Her mother died in a car accident when she was just five years old, so she was raised mostly by her father, but he was not around much. It was discovered from a pretty early age that there was something different about Amelia. She got her first ability from a boy when she was on a trip to New York when she was eight years old, and that ability was clairsentience. In a lot of ways, Amelia raised herself.
For the longest time after that, Amelia was convinced there was something wrong with her. She kept it to herself and she would write pages in her journal each night, but it was clear...there was something strange going on. She got her second ability when she was 13 at a Goo Goo Dolls concert in Detroit, the ability to heal another living thing. She is confused by these gifts, especially because she cannot share any of it with her family.
Now at 16, Amelia has found herself pregnant, by a dumb jock who she doesn't remember sleeping with, and confused about all of the changes in her life. Her father has recently remarried a real witch of a woman who cannot stand her, and Amelia has sort of become more and more withdrawn. She still writes every single night. She is a girl looking for answers, and for other people that are like her.
